Hi there! You have arrived at the "Milieu-Meets-San Francisco" Donation Drive.
Thank you for dialing.

Why is Milieu going to San Francisco? Why does he need my help anyway?

As you may or may not be aware, Milieu did music for an independent computer game called Dyson which has been
getting a lot of attention around the internet, and even scored a full-page spot in PC Gamer magazine. The good folks
Rudolf Kremers and Alex May (who created Dyson) submitted the game to the 2008 Independent Games Festival, where
after over 200 games and 40 judges deliberated, it made it into the FINAL FIVE, and thus became a candidate for the
super-rad Seumas McNally grand prize.

While this allows Milieu and the Dyson creators free admittance to the IGF, it sadly does not cover any related expenses!
Thankfully, Milieu has secured all the big stuff, like airfare and hotel, but this pretty much left him broke. Several small
expenses still remain, such as food money while in SF, parking fees at the airport and boarding fees for Milieu's cute dog Morgan.

Okay then, so I can toss Milieu a fiver - what does that get me? Good karma?

Thankfully you'll get something much cooler than good karma - a super-exclusive Milieu record!
That's right - a full-length Milieu album that will ONLY be available to donating patrons. The album is called
"We Live In The Trees" and is notable for being the first ambient Milieu record since "A Warm Wooden Hollow".
The disc features two extended pieces - "Softwhite" and "Burnt Dusk" - which were conceived and recorded for the Dyson
soundtrack, but due to their excessive length, were omitted.

I'm sold! How do I get myself one of those?

Easy! You can simply donate $8 USD or more to Milieu's PayPal account via the button below and after he returns from the
trek to San Francisco, your gift will be posted. The minimum amount of $8 ensures that Milieu gets to keep $5 of your donation
for trip-related expenses while the remaining $3 will count towards shipping. Of course, any amount donated over the $8 mark is
SUPER appreciated, and of course may result in an extra-special "bonus" being shipped to you in addition to your standard gift.

Being at the IGF (and subsequently the Game Developers Conference) is a big deal for Milieu, and could potentially mean
job opportunities within the gaming industry - something Milieu has long since aspired to do! Your support in getting him there
means you're truly supporting the music you love and the musicians that make it. Milieu Music is already Milieu's full-time job
but with your help and hopefully the right exposure at the IGF, he could make it a career!
